With her sitcom and her talk-show, Ellen Degeneres has been a house-hold name for approximately two decades now. And while her live studio audience is obsessed with Ellen for her freebies and celebrity connections, the past few years has seen Degeneres find herself in some controversy. While there have been accusations all over Twitter, NikkieTutorials is the latest star to vocally clap back at Ellen.
NikkieTutorials, aka one of the most successful beauty-guru YouTubers in the game right now, hopped on a tv show in the Netherlands called De Wereld Draait Door, where she revealed some of her true feelings towards the LGBTQIA+ star.

NikkieTutorials had previously been a guest on The Ellen Show earlier this year, where she discussed coming out as transgender on YouTube after being blackmailed. However, now that NikkieTutorials’ Dutch responses have been translated, they’re popping up on online forums and we can now finally spill the tea.
When the host of the show asked what her experience was like, NikkieTutorials hinted that Ellen was not as nice as she hoped she would be, saying: “It’s really nice that you came over and said hello to me… She didn’t… What I’ve experienced here and in other countries (is) that it’s really a whole different world. It’s more distant,” she said.

Even though NikkieTutorials said that being on the show was a “huge honour,” it seems like she had a negative experience overall. And she isn’t the only one.
Old interviews have recently re-surfaced showing Ellen’s extremely pushy behaviour with Mariah Carey and how could we forget about Dakota Johnson’s extremely awkward clash with Ellen where she calls the talk-show host out for being fake in front of the cameras. Publicity stunt or not, the clean-cut reputation of Ellen is starting to diminish right before our eyes and it’s impossible to look away.
