Watch This News Reporter Drop The Most Relatable F-Bomb Of The Year

And she responded on Twitter.

Everyone is getting a little over everything that 2020 is chucking our way, and that has just been solidified by news reporter, Lana Murphy who spiced up our timelines with the most relatable f-bomb we’ve seen this year.

Twitter users spotted the news reporter’s slip up while she was doing a cross for the afternoon report on Channel Nine in Melbourne. Lana Murphy tripped up over her words and, like any one of us would in that situation, cusses out her tongue twister and laughs it off.

One Twitter user said “The whole of Melbourne feels the same as @LanaMurphy right now. #FML”

Melbourne‘s news reporter, Lana Murphy, might’ve had a point. With Melb in stage 4 lockdown, we asked people how they were feeling.

Lana Murphy took to Twitter to explain what happened. She said “Thanks for the love friends & apologies to those who got more than they bargained for on @9NewsMelb. Unfortunately the wrong version (clearly) of a pre-record made it on air but thankfully I have a great boss and I’ll be back on your screens tomorrow. 2020 though am I right?”

Australian news has always been a bit chaotic – like, who can forget when former SBS News reporter, Lee Lin Chin got real thirsty on main for another news reporter who was actually reporting on something serious. She didn’t realise the cameras were rolling and see was gawking at her fellow news reporter and was seemingly either asking herself, or someone off-camera “who is that handsome…?” before quickly recovering and getting back to it.

That was defs something that burned into my 13-year-old brain.

If anyone ever thought it was easy being a news reporter, Lana Murphy can tell you otherwise. I’m lowkey just waiting until the video inspires people on TikTok and someone lip-syncs to it à la Scott Morrison’s interview remix or Julia Gillard’s iconic misogyny speech.
