It’s been just over a month since Megxit, but it sounds like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attempt to step down from royal duties and separate themselves from life in the limelight hasn’t been that easy.
In a recent interview with The Sun, a royal insider revealed that “Harry misses his friends.”
“But he has been in a WhatsApp group with his mates for years and he uses that more than ever now to keep in touch and send pictures,” they added. “The group are always sharing funny video clips they find as well.”
“Harry doesn’t think being on the other side of the world means that he will lose touch with the people he has been mates with all his life.”
It’s comforting to know that Prince Harry is connecting with his mates via WhatsApp, and honestly, it sounds like the lads’ chat is popping off.

Considering he’s using it to share “funny video clips” and “keep in touch,” I suspect Prince Harry and his buds have been sharing a lot of wholesome memes.

It is important, however, to remember that Prince Harry was quite the larrikin back in his day – so the “funny video clips” might be on the cheekier end of the spectrum. The Duke of Sussex was once caught partying starkers in Vegas, after all.
Either way, Prince Harry’s royal group chat seems like everything I need and more. Leaving royal life might be hell but at least keeping in touch with your mates can be a joyful experience.
