The Only Review Of Florence Pugh's Marmalade I Care For Is Paddington Bear's

Our hearts are full.

It’s been a tough news week. In amongst all the negativity that’s been swirling around us, one part of the internet has shone through the darkness, and that part of the internet is the conversation that Florence Pugh is having with Paddington Bear about marmalade.

First we had Florence Pugh document her marmalade making adventures on Instagram.

As a side note, just looking at her jar is making me crave marmalade, and I know that this is going to end in a marmalade making attempt of my own. I guarantee it will not go this well.

Anyway, Who loves marmalade more than Florence Pugh? The answer is Paddington Bear, the friendly bear who almost exclusively scoffs marmalade and gets into mischief.

He appeared on Twitter and gave us this.

That may well and truly have made my life, but here’s the rest of the conversation that happened.

So now we live in a world where Florence Pugh and Paddington Bear are going to make sandwiches together  with marmalade that Florence has made herself. My skin is cleared, and my crops are watered.

There have been a couple of concerned people holding out for Paddingon’s safety. If you haven’t seen Florence Pugh in Midsommar, I’d absolutely recommend it, but the fate of bears in that movie is… not fantastic. If you haven’t seen the film, just know that it’s not a good place to be a bear. Or a human, for that matter.

It’s not a good place to be, full stop.

But back in the land of wholesome news, people are also calling for Florence to be a part of Paddington 3. The film has been confirmed for this year, but we don’t know any other details yet, but what I’m understanding is that there’s a chance.

I’m officially nominating Florence Pugh and Paddington Bear for friendship of the year 2020, and re-reading this interaction every time the actual news reminds me how terrifying the real world is.
