Pornhub has really been stepping it up lately when it comes to content beyond their usual titillating fare. Since the COVID-19 pandemic has got everyone even more cautious about washing their hands, the adult content behemoth has decided to jump on the bandwagon by launching a sexy Pornhub-like parody site called Scrubhub, which is all about washing your dirty, dirty hands.

Styled exactly like the Pornhub site, Scrubhub features an expansive library of – you guessed it – hand washing videos. This isn’t just a half-arsed parody site either as the Scrubhub videos come with the goofy, all-caps titles that Pornhub is famous for, and all are sorted into the usual porn categories we’re more than familiar with.
The entire parody site is also unexpectedly SFW as every Scrubhub video is either just gratuitous hand washing, stuff to do with maintaining cleanliness around the house, or just tips on how not to be a dirty animal during these trying COVID-19 times.
The only thing that verges into NSFW territory is the use of titles like “THE BIGGEST CUCUMPILATION YOU’LL EVER SEE!” and “THICK ANAL HUNK,” which would probably cause a lot of confusion to people who didn’t know what exactly is going on.
This isn’t just a one-note joke by Pornhub to piggyback off the COVID-19 pandemic either as Scrubhub both functions as a funny PSA about washing your dirty, dirty hands and as a way to raise funds for charities.
Scrubhub will be fielding donations for two charities, Invisible Hands and Frontline Foods, both of which aim to deliver food to the workers on the frontlines and to those struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement from Scrubhub creators, Ani Acopian and Suzy Shinn (via Mashable), who partnered with Pornhub to make the parody site a reality, says:
“We wanted to take something as mundane as washing your hands and make it entertaining in the only way we know how – by taking a joke way too far.
“Scrubhub started as a fun idea that, thanks to Pornhub’s platform, we’ve turned into a destination for creativity and connection for the greater good. We’re proud to be partnering with our friends at Invisible Hands and Frontline Foods to make a difference and raise money for those affected by COVID-19.”
Have to really give props to Pornhub for knowing when to lend a helping hand to people. That being said, this does give a whole new meaning to the phrase “rubbing one out.”
