We like to make fun of Pete Davidson for having a “type” (brunette starlets FYI), so it’s only fair we do the same to his ex-girlfriend, Kate Beckinsale, who definitely has a thing for younger men. We’re not here to judge who Kate Beckinsale dates or how there’s a 24-year age-gap between her and her current boyfriend, 22-year-old Goody Grace.
They’re both adults who can do what they want and it’s really none of our business. If you try to get involved, well Kate doesn’t give a crap what you think of her younger boyfriends and she’ll end you if you try and go after her for it.

Taking to her Instagram, Kate shared a since-deleted video of her cat ignoring her commands and captioned it with “Very much did not go as planned Please tell me if this worked for you and WHY MY CAT IS BROKEN” (as per Refinery 29).
This was quickly jumped upon by a troll wanting to score some internet points by writing something quippy involving the words “Kate Beckinsale,” “age-gap” and “boyfriend.”
After presumably much workshopping, the troll ended up writing “Try and see if your new tom boy will adhere.” Without wasting a beat, Kate clapped back with “Try and see if you can spell and not just goon yourself straight out the gate,” presumably in reference to how the troll intended to write “boy toy” instead of “tom boy.”
The strange usage of the word “goon” aside, Kate’s simple retort embarrassed the troll so much that they deleted the comment before scurrying back to their basement. It ultimately proved to be a bit redundant anyway since Kate deleted the video shortly afterwards.
Once again, this whole thing does bring up the topic of age-gaps between couples, especially those well known to the public like Florence Pugh and Zach Braff. Sure we may all have opinions on it, but it ultimately amounts to less than jack and all.
Kate Beckinsale and Goody Grace are consenting adults and no one is in any place to comment about their relationship or the 24-year age gap, let alone some random troll on the internet. Besides, it’s not like their relationship is problematic on the level of Paul Walker and his teen girlfriends.
It probably goes without saying at this point that what people do in their personal lives is their own business. As the saying goes, age is just a number and if Kate Beckinsale and Goody Grace are happy together then good on them.
