Nostalgic pop-group, Cascada, is sadly on our radar for all the wrong reasons today. In an Instagram post made by the lead singer, Natalie Horler has come forward and said that she does, in fact, have Coronavirus.

After developing symptoms including a fever, headache, loss of smell and loss of taste, Natalie got herself tested and the results came back positive. In the post, she said, “I just got a call from the hospital where I was tested today and I do have the Coronavirus.”
Natalie continued, “But, all-in-all I’m okay… They said they think I’ll probably have quite a mild development of it all… So, I’m not really worried.” Thank goodness for that. You can watch the full video, where she addresses her situation, here:
Natalie also assured us that her life isn’t going to “change much” as a result of this diagnosis. She said, “I’ve been isolating myself anyway these past 8 days and I’m just going to continue and just take the quarantine a notch up now, meaning: no more random supermarket visits, no matter how careful, no more walks, I’m just literally gonna get fresh air on the terrace and that’s going to be it.”
Shockingly, however, even though she possessed symptoms, she didn’t qualify for a test as she hadn’t been in any high-risk places nor had she come into contact with a confirmed case. Before the Instagram post was uploaded, the singer had taken to her Instagram Stories to let her followers know that she had paid €128 to take a test, because she wanted to ‘know for sure’ if she had had it. And thank God she did.
Cascada is the latest celebrity to come forward and say they have the virus, joining: Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Sabrina Dhowre, Daniel Dae Kim, Andy Cohen and many others. We, like the many fans commenting on her post, wish Cascada all the best with her recovery.
