When Oprah talks, the Internet listens – and when she falls on stage while talking about ‘balance,’ the Internet explodes.
During a recent talk at her Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life on Focus Tour, the 66-year-old fell arse over tit while ironically talking about ‘balance.’
“Wellness to me means all things in balance, and balance doesn’t mean all things are equal or at peace at all times,” she said before absolutely stacking it.
Luckily, Oprah was able to compose herself relatively quickly and joke, “wrong shoes.” According to People, Oprah’s longtime boo Stedman Graham rushed on stage following her fall to make sure she was okay.

Later, in an Instagram video, Oprah said, “I didn’t even think ‘embarrassing.’ I just thought ‘Okay I fell, everybody knows what falling is.’ You would prefer not to fall, but now I’ve fallen.”
“I thought this was a great day in spite of the fall, which now becomes a meme, I know,” she said. “But I picked myself up. I don’t know if it was something on the floor or my foot twisted or what. I had the indication I was gonna fall before, and then it is what it is, it was a great, great day.”
To reassure her concerned fans, Oprah even posted an IG photo of her smiling while resting her leg. “Sunday Reading and icing. Thank you all for your kind wishes. Yes I slipped on stage and I’m now a meme. But so grateful to be only a little sore. Turning the day into what @michelleobama calls #selfcareSunday.”
Honestly – is there anything more inspiring than seeing Oprah fall, quite literally pick herself up, dust herself off and wholeheartedly embrace becoming an overnight meme?
