Never Forget How Cringeworthy Angelina Jolie And Billy Bob Thornton's PDA Was

The vials of blood were only the start.

Every now and then, the darkest parts of pop culture rear their heads and remind us they exist. This time around, it’s all the strange and cringeworthy PDA between Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, and oh boy there’s a lot.

For more celeb throwbacks, let the GOAT Team catch you up on what Britney Spears is up to…

The main offender is this clip that has been dug up of the pair on the red carpet for Gone In 60 Seconds, back in 2000. A reporter for MTV asked them what the most exciting thing they’ve ever done in a car together was – yes, I know, but let’s just brush over that – and their answer was… something.

“I think it was today,” Thornton said. “My favourite one in a car was today… just before we got here. What is this MTV? You want me to be honest with you? We f*cked in the car.”

Observe.

The cherry on the top is the fact that Angelina seems to be taking the phrase “eating his face” very literally.

Of course this wasn’t a once off. There were a lot of red carpet photos of the pair taken that showed off Angelina Jolie’s very 2000s tattoo dedicated to Billy Bob Thornton, and most of those pictures also involve some sort of boob grab.

The boob grab pictures became so iconic that Amber Rose brought them back when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt divorced in 2016. The timing might not have been great, but there you have it.

Of course this is all coming from a couple who decided that wearing vials of each other’s blood around their necks was a totally reasonable thing to do. By the way, how is that not something we talk about constantly these days? The fact that the world no longer seems to care about the blood vials seems very strange to me.

Mind you, not as strange as the actual blood vials.
