There’s nothing like a good old fashioned celebrity beef to distract us from the grips of a global pandemic.
Over the weekend, YouTube celeb James Charles jumped on the COVID meme bandwagon and tweeted, “just tested positive for having a fat ass.”
He’s by no means the first Twitter user to post such a statement. In fact, the whole ‘just tested positive’ thing has been kicking around for a while now.
Sadly, Charles’ tweet went down like deflated ass and attracted a range of negative responses. One user suggested the YouTuber should “get a test to tell how insensitive you are,” while another told Charles to “think of those that have family and friends that are sick at the moment.”
It was awkward, but the beef hit sizzling temperatures when RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Trinity The Tuck weighed in, tweeting, “Fat ass? Girl who diagnosed you? Hellen Keller?”
Eek.
Charles hit back, by tweeting, “Damn, she must’ve mistook the lumpy silicone in your face as Braille instead of reading my actual test results. My mistake…. speaking of mistakes, how’s your crown?”
Trinity was having none of Charles’ shade, and fired one last shot, tweeting, “Awe girl that’s cute. Keep reading doll. I’m not the one who tried to break in people’s lines at drag con to meet u and ask if u can ship me free product ( my tucking panty) for a like and a post. But girl do u! That ass sure looks…….”
You have to respect a queen who can fire back and promote their product in one fell swoop.
Trinity The Tuck showed Charles’ zero mercy in their Twitter feud, taking to her platform once the dust had settled to tweet, “And yes I @ him. I ain’t got no reason to just talk behind his back (and when I say back I mean extended back since he ain’t got no ass)”
Wow. With all this feuding over fat asses I almost forgot we were in the midst of a global pandemic. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
