After taking Hollywood by storm in 1994 with her role as Tina Carlyle in The Mask, Cameron Diaz quickly became a household name. However in 2014, the star vowed to never make a film again. But after a new interview, it sounds like there’s a possibility the ’00s icon may make a return to acting once again.
Cameron Diaz popped up as the special guest in Makeup & Friends, a Westman Atelier web-series. When makeup artist Gucci Westman said that the world would like to see Diaz return to the silver screen, Cameron Diaz’s response was shockingly hopeful. She said, “Look, I’m never going to say never… I’m not a person who says never about anything.”

There you have it, the possibility is there. And you know what, we would love to see her return to acting so that she can rectify the mess that was the Charlie’s Angels 2019 reboot. Don’t get us wrong the Elizabeth Banks film wasn’t “bad” per se, it was just received very poorly by the public which contrasted heavily to the reputation of the original Charlie’s Angels reboot.

Charlie’s Angels and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle are cinematic masterpieces and do not deserve to be associated with a flop of a movie. So, if Cameron Diaz does return to acting, let’s hope she reunites with Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore to complete the trilogy. Please!
