I bring this up because of a wild thing that’s happening on Twitter where everyone is declaring Killing Eve star Jodie Comer to be cancelled because she’s apparently dating a Trump supporter.

This wild saga all began on Twitter when unsubstantiated reports claiming that Jodie Comer is dating a bloke who is a fervent Trump supporter appeared, and this revelation immediately caused Killing Eve fans to put the actress into cancelled bin.
Seeing as how Trump supporters stand behind a big orange baby who is racist, sexist, and all kinds of horrible in every sense of the word, it’s no surprise that Killing Eve fans are shocked to hear how someone like Jodie Comer, who is a vocal ally for Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQIA+ community, can be dating someone who supports a bloke that’s completely against everything she stands for.
Reacting in the only way it knows how, the internet responded to this dating claim by roasting the hell out of Jodie for her “fake activism” and her supposed Trump supporter boyfriend, as well as digging up “receipts” of this big orange baby supporting chap.
Now it needs to be reiterated that these claims of Jodie Comer supposedly dating a Trump supporter haven’t been confirmed, nor has the Killing Eve star said anything either other than revealing she was in a relationship back in April, so no one really knows if this is true or just another wild hoax drummed up by the internet.
Just as how the internet was quick to pile on Jodie’s rumoured choice in men, there were fans who were quick to defend the actress and what she does in her personal life.
So what did we learn from all this ridiculousness? Well the internet is quick to pounce on something negative if it has anything to do with a beloved celebrity like Jodie Comer, even if it’s not confirmed, and a lot of people can’t stand Trump or his supporters.
We can’t really say much about the former since we simply don’t know if Jodie is dating a Trump supporter, but the latter is something most of us are feeling right now.
