It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

Every Time We Witnessed Robert Pattinson's Beautifully Chaotic Energy

"There’s a little gremlin inside of me"

Robert Pattinson is Hollywood’s favourite oddball and the gift that keeps on giving.

We spoke about Robert Pattison’s weirdest moments on this episode of It’s Been A Big Day For…

He’s given pop culture some unbelievably chaotic moments, especially in interviews, and these are just a few of my favourites.

When he forgot Emma Watson’s name while filming Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.

In a video that surfaced on the internet, we see a very young Emma Watson chasing Robert Pattinson around the hair and makeup trailer, trying to get him to remember her name with absolutely no luck at all.

When he confessed to eating mud on set of The Lighthouse.

In The Lighthouse, Robert Pattinson was faced with a bit of a muddy set because it was quite rainy. He told the Chicago Sun Times, “I did eat quite a lot of mud.” Someone pls check on that man.

When he sprained his bum while filming Twilight.

Robert Pattinson told MTV “We were doing the fight scene at the end of the first one, and I tore my glute — well, almost tore it, basically in my second shot of the whole movie, of the whole series.”

When he confessed he ‘doesn’t see the point of showering’.

In an interview for Extra, he admitted to not washing his hair for over six weeks.

When he said, ‘I smell like a crayon’ to sell perfume.

In an interview promoting Dior Homme, Robert Pattinson said that people have said he smells like he is ’embalmed’ – and ‘like a crayon’.

When he pitched his pasta business idea – Piccolini Cuscino

Who can forget his iconic and strange GQ interview during lockdown and inspiring, what became, ‘quarantine pasta’. He was going through making a plate of pasta – in the microwave, in a foil plate: Piccolini Cuscino.

When he said that ‘Chicken Run’ was his favourite chick flick

He just… couldn’t think of anything else.

When he lied about seeing a clown die

Robert Pattinson literally lied on the Today Show about his first experience at the circus when he said a clown died.

He confessed about a week later and said that he made the whole thing up because he had “nothing interesting to say.”

When he said, ‘there’s a little gremlin inside of me’.

When asked why he does all these weird things in interviews, Robert Pattinson said that there is a ‘little gremlin’ inside of him that makes him do it.

“There’s a little gremlin inside of me that thinks, “Just say something shocking. You’re only here for a few minutes, say something terrible.” There’s a kind of perverse glee I get from that. But I’ve given my publicist a number of heart attacks.”

I reckon we can all learn from Robert Pattinson – he’s unashamedly weird and we have no choice but to love it.
