Britney Spears’ Flower Pic Only Adds To Theory Her Instagram Is A Cry For Help

"Now is it a coincidence?"

If you’re fan of Britney Spears and spend a fair amount of time on social media, you’d be well aware that the #FreeBritney movement has picked up steam once again – and the singer’s cryptic flower post on Instagram isn’t helping to ease concerns. Hear about some of Britney’s posts below:

Last week, fans began speculating that Spears’ decision to wear a yellow blouse in an Instagram video was in response to a fan who commented, “if you need help, wear yellow in your next video.”

Fast-forward to this week, and there’s another theory pointing to Spears’ Instagram posts being a cry for help.

TIkTok user Leena O’Brien took to the video sharing platform yesterday to share her discovery about one of Spears’ latest posts. “If you thought it was a coincidence that people told Britney Spears to wear a yellow shirt and the next day she did, how’s this?” O’Brien asked, pointing out a fan comment on one of the singer’s recent posts which read, “Post a picture of any flower if you are in danger.”

O’Brien then highlighted the fact that one hour after that comment was posted, Spears uploaded a photo of flowers with the caption, “God is in the small stuff and it all matters.”

It might just be yet another coincidence but it’s no surprise Britney’s fans are concerned.

Spears recently took to Instagram to try and clear things up, writing in a caption, “I get how some people might not like my posts or even understand them, but this is Me being happy… this is Me being authentic and as real as it gets… I want to inspire people to do the same and just be themselves without pleasing others… that’s the key to happiness.”

However, around the same time, Andrew Gallery, a photographer who worked with the singer shared a 5-part TikTok video detailing a letter she once sent him. In the letter, Spears spoke in third person, claimed her children were taken away from her and that she was “lied to and set up”.

The #FreeBritney movement also continued to gain momentum yesterday when Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears reportedly filed legal documents requesting to be included in her daughter’s finances.

There’s so much to unpack when it comes to Spears’ conservatorship and the #FreeBritney movement, and truth be told, there’s probably a lot we don’t know. All we can do is hope Britney Spears is safe, happy and healthy and continue supporting her as best we can.
