We all saw the behaviour from Ash Williams towards Abbie Chatfield last night on I’m A Celeb.
After spending the night together in Ash’s swag, a new celebrity arrives at camp – singer and model Alli Simpson – and 38-year-old Ash tells the boys that he regrets getting with Abbie ‘cos he’d rather hit on Alli, saying her arrival into the camp is “one day too late.”
“Yeah it’s very tough because in all seriousness, like, she is way more my type,” Ash told Grant Denyer, referring to Alli Simpson.

“So this morning, I was sitting by the fire and I said, ‘Last night’s cuddle was good.’ I said, ‘You know, maybe we could do that again,’” he said.
Fans were not happy with Ash’s behaviour especially since Abbie is a strong feminist for us all and many called him out for his behaviour towards women.
But Abbie’s response is what we mainly care about and in true beautiful Abbie form she was raw and honest, taking to her Instagram stories to tell her fans how she felt about Ash’s words.

“If you think your love life is bad, imagine consistently being second best on national TV,” she captioned the second pic.
Abbie is referring to her time on The Bachelor, where she was the runner up to win the heart of Matt Agnew, and Bachelor In Paradise, where she was rejected by Ciarran Stott (which, let’s face it, is definitely for the best).
Abbie said Ash’s behaviour made her feel like “charity work”
“Yeah super funny. Super good. Sorry for trapping you with ‘bad timing’,” she wrote.
“Sorry you asked me to stay in your bed and then again the next night.
“Love feeling like charity work.”
She also said that she feels too “hurt” to offer a feminist rant, which we know and love so well from Abbie.
She added that her “self-esteem hasn’t been good lately and I know you all want me to be the *self-love queen* but uh, it’s like all time low and it was just kind of a kick in the guts and yeah.”
While revealing how she felt about Ash, she clarified that she was in no way upset about Alli. She also told fans that she plans on catching up with her fellow contestant this coming week.
Despite us all being huge fans of Abbie and feeling insanely protective of our leader, she urged fans not to “troll anyone from the show though because I know you guys would get angry for me but just don’t.”
