Everyone knows Venusaur. He’s the final evolution of Bulbasaur, the first and most useless starter Pokemon, who ultimately redeems that trash Pokemon from being a waste of a space because he can learn a bunch of incredibly over-powered moves that make the likes of Dragonite jealous.
It turns out, however, that we don’t know Venusaur. We’ve hardly known Venusaur at all. Because like a cheating partner with a double life we’ve just discovered in a dramatic montage, there’s a whole other side of Venusaur that’s only just been blown wide open.
It turns out Venusaur is a frog. Or, possibly even worse, a toad.
The shocking discovery came via a Japanese promotional video for the upcoming video game Pokemon: Let’s Go, that dropped over the weekend. Check out the video below.
It’s as clear as day. Venusaur HOPS. LIKE A FROG.
This is truly a cursed video.
Of course, nobody is dealing with this development.
I…I WAS NOT EXPECTING VENUSAUR TO HOP AROUND LIKE A FROGhttps://t.co/E2g9v6LnYa pic.twitter.com/EKeDtxnOmn

Most people is flopping over the Venusaur's running animations. some even said they won't pick Bulbasaur because of that.
Venusaur got a new thing to be hated for.

OOF. Seeing Venusaur's legs stretched out while it's running feels extremely cursed pic.twitter.com/KauH6BI2r7

Meanwhile, a post about the hopping Venusaur has already hit the front page of Reddit.
While we’re on the topic, this new information goes against Pokemon canon. As you can clearly see in the gif below from the Pokemon animated series, Venusaur trods along. He does not hop.
We demand answers, Pokemon. This is unacceptable in 2018.
