Pete Davidson Booted A Guy From His Stand-Up Show For The Worst Possible Mac Miller Joke

Read the room, my dude.

Heckling is one of the rudest things you can do at a comedy show. I mean, if you yell “get your d**k out” at a Louis CK show you are the heroic exception – but in general, you should never, ever do it.

Furthermore, if you’re seeing Pete Davidson, then you should definitely not heckle him with the name of his former fiancee’s ex-boyfriend who died less than a year ago.

TMZ released audio of an incident at a venue in New Jersey where Davidson was performing a stand-up set on Monday night.

Pete begin a bit with the setup: “So a funny thing happened to me recently in my apartment … my friend died of a heart attack.”

And some joker, some absolute walnut, some goddamn smart mouth Jersey yuk-it-up super funny guy, yells “Mac Miller?”

“Oh, Jesus Christ,” says Davidson flatly. “Who’s that? We’re getting him out.”

He stopped the show to insist the man was removed: “I’ll wait. If you want the show to continue, call out the person [and] get him the f**k out.”

“If you’re sitting next to the person who said that, call him out.”

“I’m not gonna have that shit at my show.”

He made sure the man was given his money back and escorted out by security – recovering enough to riff about the “scary” security guard – and went on with the show.

Turns out the joke reportedly wasn’t even as dark as the setup sounded – according to an audience member who spoke to Page Six, the friend who “died” had actually just passed out, and Davidson thought it was a heart attack.

Wonder if it was as super hilarious as that heckler. Boy oh boy, he’s got a bright future, that one.
