So why are the very figureheads of Galentine’s Day, the ladies of Parks And Recreation, hanging out without all of us?
Yes, that’s Leslie Knope herself, the incomparable Amy Poehler, having a catchup with a suspiciously cheerful-looking April Ludgate (AKA Aubrey Plaza) and the beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox Rashida “AnnPerkins!” Jones.
And you weren’t invited.
Look, it’s very nice when people who were on shows we love actually love each other IRL, and hang out years after the show ended.
It’s also fun when they hate each others’ guts, but we’ll go for ladies supporting ladies every time if given the choice.
But are we, the fans of Parks And Rec and its ladies, not also rule-breaking moths? Poetic, noble land-mermaids? Beautiful tropical fish, worthy of love and mimosas and behind-the-scenes gossip about whether there’s a link between Chris Pratt getting superhero ripped and joining a slightly suss church?
