Some days you need to be reminded that there are people out there doing important and inspirational work to make the world a better place for future generations.
And sometimes you need to be told that someone drew dicks in the sky because that is funny.
WATCH: A "bored" pilot's test flight has raised more than a few eyebrows, after getting creative with their flight path over SA. More TONIGHT in #9NewsAt6 pic.twitter.com/AEzVEDnsW8

An unidentified pilot was supposedly “running in” a new engine in a light aircraft operated by Flight Training Adelaide.
He – because let’s be honest, it’s definitely a bloke – took off from Parafield Airport and headed north before turning east and then heading back to Adelaide, pausing only to fly in such a way that his flight path log would spell “IM BORED” over about 150-odd kilometres of the state’s mid-north.
He also drew two great big cocks over Port Broughton and Port Pirie, and these have raised some questions for us.
Could this be a subtle sky-bourn critique of the slow death of regional South Australia? Is it a celebration of the fecundity of the region’s agriculture, fisheries and wine country? Or is it perhaps a tribute to the impressive ballsiness of airman Edward Gage, who vanished in the Spencer Gulf in 1943?
We can only speculate. But until more information comes to light, we look forward to the next artistic triumph of SA’s Hero of the Skies.
