Noah Centineo Joining The Charlie’s Angels Reboot As A Love Interest Might Be The Biggest Distraction An Angel Has Ever Faced

Clearly the To All The Boys star has a thing for movies centred around strong female characters and we are here for it.

As you probably know, the iconic female-fronted action franchise Charlie’s Angels is among the sea of beloved content getting a 21st century reboot. Elizabeth Banks is heading the project as director, writer, producer and playing one of many Bosleys.

So far they’ve got Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott (Aladin), and British newcomer Ella Balinska signed on as our Angels, and Patrick Stewart (Star Trek, X-Men), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy, Blood Diamond), and Sam Claflin (Hunger Games, Me Before You), as our other three Bosleys (???).

And in the spirit of collecting stars to make up the cast, they’ve just added the internet’s boyfriend, Noah Centineo to the official cast list.

Noah Centineo stole our hearts as Peter Kavinksy in Netflix’s incredible romcom To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and now apparently he’s going to be charming one of Charlie’s Angels.

It is quite possibly the greatest obstacle the Angels have ever faced because I am unsure of how you are meant to focus on anything let alone a mission when Peter Kavinsky is smiling at you???

I mean Noah! Noah Centineo. I absolutely know the difference.

Since news broke that Centineo landed his first major Hollywood Big Screen movie, there has been talk about how his To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before costar (and the film’s lead character), Lana Condor, deserves the same amount of attention and opportunities.

Lana Condor is starring in an upcoming SyFy series Deadly Class and hopefully will be swept up onto the Big Screen ASAP. Condor is objectively amazing, and her playing the lead role in the Netflix romcom has been a huge point of excitement for Asian representation on screen.

While Noah Centineo is amazing, he is also an easy choice that doesn’t challenge any of the thoroughly-cemented Hollywood norms.

So, even though Lana Condor is extremely talented, those outdated Hollywood norms can inhibit her ability to have the same exponential growth that Centineo is enjoying. Which is why everyone’s rooting for Lana Condor with extra enthusiasm – so that Hollywood knows that we do want to see her, and people like her, on the big screen.

Lana Condor of course has nothing but positive and supportive things to say about her costar and his extreme rising fame, because she’s gracious and lovely.

So it’s up to the rest of us to be vocal about how much we want to see Lana Condor, To All The Boys’ STAR, landing those big roles.

Still, of course, we’re absolutely pumped to see Noah Centineo in the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot where he will definitely test the Angels’ ability to stay on task with his cute as heck smile.
