Nick Jonas Has Done Grosser Things That Smoke A Damn Cigar

Ummm, breaking up the band!?

With a combined social media following into the millions, there’s no denying that the Jonas Brothers have a young, captive audience who are watching their every move. So, it’s no surprise that Nick Jonas’ latest magazine cover has ruffled feathers.

The 26-year-old made his debut on the cover of Cigar Aficionado magazine this month, and it’s safe to say, fans aren’t happy.

Jonas posted the cover to Instagram with the caption, “First person under 30 to hold a cigar on the cover of one of my favourite magazines,” but was met with critical comments calling him “gross and irresponsible.”

Others have run to Jonas’ defence, explaining that it’s up to him what he wants to do with his downtime, and if that includes smoking cigars, that’s his choice.

There are two sides to this story, but Jonas has done far more ‘questionable’ things in the past.

After the JoBros announced their comeback in February this year they also released their documentary Chasing Happiness

In the doco, the band opened up about their 2013 split  and Nick’s influence in the tough decision. “I feel like I’m fighting against something that’s not working,” Kevin Sr. remembered Nick telling him. “I’ve given everything I have to this music, but I’m going here, Joe’s going here, Kevin’s over there and I just can’t do it anymore.”

Apparently, Joe and Kevin were really upset about Nick’s decision. “This is what I loved more than anything…and somebody that you loved and cared about so much could take it away so quickly,” Joe said.

Luckily, the iconic trio made the decision to put the past behind them and join forces once again in 2019. Clearly, it was a good choice because the Jonas Brothers are back to killing it in the charts with their bangers ‘Only Human’ and ‘Sucker.’

A bona fide banger.

Suddenly, Nick’s love of cigars doesn’t seem like that big of a deal.
