Netflix just gave us our first full length trailer and real look at the Orange is the New Black Litchfield Penitentiary crew in the upcoming sixth season. It. Looks. Hectic.
Just when you thought you were finally starting to recover from last season’s wild antics and violent prison riot, it looks likes the inmates are facing a whole new world of trouble relocating to the maximum security facility.
“This isn’t home — this is not home!” complains Suzanne as she arrives in her new cell.
“It is now,” replies the guard.
We get a peak at the new lives of most of the crew and a line up of new enemies in the trailer and the most noticeable thing is that orange is out. It seems blue, khaki and pink are the new black, and they all want to fight each other.
“You don’t know how strong my girls are,” Red growls – ever the fighter. “We have iron wills and f***ing nothing to lose.”
There’s a lot to digest in the trailer, and the new series premieres on Netflix on July 27 so clear your schedule.
