New 13 Reasons Why Trailer Teases Who Killed Bryce Walker And It's Intense AF

"Everyone has their reasons…"

After the first teaser trailer for 13 Reasons Why season three was released and revealed Bryce Walker has been killed, the newest trailer is asking the question we all want to know the answer to – who killed Bryce and why?

The show has been nothing short of controversial since it was first released and shared a graphic depiction of suicide – Netflix only recently made the decision to edit the scene out of season one.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix made a statement about the edit and revealed they decided to cut the scene on the advice of experts.

The scene now features “Hannah looking at herself in the mirror before cutting to her parents’ reaction to her suicide”. It no longer features the scene where Hannah is seen “taking a razor blade to her wrists and the immediate aftermath”.

Showrunner Brian Yorkey said the reason they featured the graphic details in the first place was to “tell the truth about the horror of such an act, and make sure no one would ever wish to emulate it”.

In season three Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) and his classmates try to find out who murdered Hannah’s alleged rapist, Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice) and it looks like everyone’s a suspect. You can watch the very intense trailer below:

Netflix’s official description of season three reads:

“Who killed Bryce Walker? Everyone has their reasons… The secrets at Liberty High run deep, and in the aftermath of the Homecoming game all of the friends have something to hide.

“As the mystery of his death engulfs the town, there are numerous suspects in focus. But were any of them truly capable of murder? And who is the new girl? Police are determined to get to the truth, but with a web of secrets and lies this tangled, will anyone be found guilty?”

The show is obviously no stranger to a controversial storyline, but surely after they’ve done a murder mystery it’s time to call it quits?

How much more drama can a bunch of high schoolers find themselves in? It’s not like it’s set in the same universe as Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!
