Netflix is reportedly experimenting with a new feature to help those of us who never actually know what we want to watch.
I don’t know about you, but, to me, this is exactly what Netflix has been lacking all these years, something for those of us who are way too indecisive.
Scrolling through Netflix for 45 minutes deciding what to watch & then just getting on your phone for another 15 minutes

I literally waste a lot of time on Netflix.
Not on watching movies but deciding what to watch.

You ever spend like 40 min deciding on what to watch on Netflix and then fall asleep during the opening credits? Yeah, me too.

To this day, if I spend more than five minutes deciding what to watch on Netflix, I just click over and watch To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

It seems as though enough of us indecisive viewers have complained about it for long enough, the streaming service is going to do something about it.
According to Unilad, Netflix is experimenting with the possibility of a shuffle play function to save you time on deciding what to watch. But it seems as though at this stage it’s only being tested to allow users to shuffle episodes of TV shows.
A spokesperson from Netflix told the website, “We are testing the ability for members to play a random episode from different TV series on the Android mobile app. These tests typically vary in length of time and by region, and may not become permanent.”
Deadline reports the feature will allow viewers to instantly watch an episode of their favourite show if they’re not looking for anything specific.
The TV shows that offered the feature would appear in a new row titled “Play a Random Episode” just like the “Continue Watching” and “Trending Now” rows.
When you click the thumbnail for the show, a random episode will play.
Sounds like heaven.
