It has been far too many days since we have taken a moment to acknowledge the grandeur that is Lindsay Lohan’s hit single ‘Rumors’. This masterpiece should be acknowledged and enjoyed at least once a week, if not once a day. At the very least.
So we would like to say a special thank you to Miley Cyrus for bringing us out of our Rumor-less slump by sharing a tribute to the absolute track on Twitter.

Cast your mind back to 2004. Off the back of her flourishing acting career, America’s sweetheart LindsayLohan branched out into the music business and blessed us with this absolute track.
‘Rumors’ featured on her debut album Speak, and it calls out the paparazzi for just being generally very annoying. It was a controversial track to launch a music career with, and you can still taste the spice when you listen. Yum.
Also, the music video is fire, and was nominated for Best Pop Video at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards.
Don’t you feel better now? Listening to ‘Rumors’ provides a sweet sense of catharsis that brings you as close to nirvana as you can get. Basically.
