It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

Marvel Fans Are In A Panic Thinking Serena Williams Spoiled Avengers: Endgame

Best take this all with a mountain of salt though.

Despite Marvel locking down tighter than Fort Knox when it comes to movie spoilers, there have been moments where details inadvertently slip out by loose-lipped actors.

Looking at you, Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo.

Details for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame have been quite sparse, presumably because Marvel are redoubling its efforts on preventing spoilers from getting out.

However, their efforts may have been in vain as a bombshell of a spoiler might’ve just made its way out into the world from the most unlikely source: Serena Williams.

Now just in case this all actually turns out to be true: SPOILERS AHEAD!

Here’s what went down: Serena was supposedly trying to get a video of Chris Evans while at the Oscars because why the hell not, the dude is Captain America after all.

But as Serena was covertly filming Chris, she can be heard saying that she’s “devastated that he died in that movie, Avengers” before her friend quickly reminded her that it’s a secret. While the tennis legend shared that clip to her Instagram, she quickly took it down but not before fans managed to get a copy (which you can watch right here if you want).

There’s only one appropriate reaction to all this and we’ll let Star-Lord do the honours.

Now while this is a bombshell and a half from Serena, we must take all this with a mountain of salt.

Based on the clip, which was shared on a fan account, there’s no confirmation that the person behind the camera is actually Serena. It could be some completely unknown to us for all we know.

And based on how paranoid Marvel are about spoilers getting out, especially with their biggest movie of the year, it is likely that “Serena” may have simply gotten details about Endgame and Infinity War mixed up, which isn’t too farfetched given how half the universe vanished in the latter movie.

But while the veracity of this spoiler is in question, it hasn’t stopped fans from freaking out over it.

While this spoiler remains unconfirmed for now, we can definitely confirm that this little incident is evidence fans everywhere are just frothing for Endgame to finally come out and give them the closure that they didn’t get from Infinity War.

And given Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo’s recent track record, don’t be surprised if either of them end up being the ones spoiling Endgame before the movie comes out in April.
