Dry Shampoo Is The Best Thing Ever Invented, K Thanks

Best. Thing. Ever.

This isn’t just any article, this is a love story.

But it isn’t just any love story – it’s an epic love. The kind of love that you hear about in romance novels and dream about your whole life. The kind of love that is beautiful and undying and never betrays you.

This, my friends, is an ode to dry shampoo – the best thing ever invented.

As someone who has thick, frizzy, hard to manage hair, washing my locks is the very definition of hell.

Just the process of shampooing and conditioning takes a solid 20 minutes, then there’s the brushing, the drying, and the straightening because I’d rather leave the house with two different shoes on then walk out with my natural hair.

I look like Monica in that friends episode where her hair goes crazy from humidity except it doesn’t have to be a humid day for my hair to look shocking.

So, I straighten it all the time. But it only lasts about a week before it needs washing again which I already established is a saga.

Enter dry shampoo, the love of my entire existence.

The stuff is legit magic. Not only does it make my gross oily roots look fresh, but it smells amazing and makes the rest of my hair voluminous and appear unrealistically healthy.

One time I lasted two whole weeks without washing my hair. Don’t judge me, you wouldn’t wash your hair either if it looked as good as mine did.

Dry shampoo is the answer to (almost) all of life’s problems

Going on a date? Dry shampoo.

Going through a breakup? Dry shampoo?

Need to turn up to a party looking bangin’ because your ex is gonna be there? Dry shampoo.

Dry shampoo is also super versatile. Not only does it make you and your hair look like they belong on Broadway, but it can also be used as emergency deodorant, to deodorise smelly shoes, volumise your eyebrows, hide your dark roots (if you don’t blend it in properly), work as a stain remover for oil stains, de-clam your clammy hands, and improve your grip.

Dry shampoo really is the whole package. Except, unlike a person, it won’t let you down.
