It’s been a big day for… Listening to...

Leonardo DiCaprio Was Finally Asked About Jack And THAT Door And Look, Don’t Hold Your Breath

Complete cop out.

I don’t scare easily. But there’s one movie that has haunted me since the day I first watched it and every day I’ve watched it since: Titanic

It’s an epic tale of forbidden love set on a sinking cruise ship feat. a big arse blue diamond, tuxedoes and Leonardo DiCaprio. On paper, it’s the perfect film. But right at its climax is fails.

JACK COULD FIT ON THAT DOOR DAMNIT.

It’s not just me that is haunted by Jack’s untimely and, frankly, stupidly justified death. Fans all over the world have expressed their anger consistently in the 22 years since the film was first released.

’nuff said.

Now Jack himself – Leonardo DiCaprio – has weighed in on the whether Jack could have joined the love of his life on the door and lived happily ever after.

But if you think he gave Jack the justice he deserved, you’re wrong. Leo’s answer was a total cop out: “No comment.”

WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO COMMENT, LEO?

OF ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, YOU’RE THE ONE WHOSE COMMENT MATTERS THE MOST.

Leo was asked the question while on a press tour for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood; his movie with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. If I’m giving Leo the benefit of the doubt, maybe his head just wasn’t in the space to talk about Titanic. You know, he’s a professional actor, he’s promoting a new film, he doesn’t want to talk about 20-year-old fan beef.

But Margot and Brad are with Leo when he gets asked the question and they’re laughing and smiling and having a great time. Leo, on the other hand, looks uncomfortable and is deliberately evasive. Look at his smirk.

That could mean one of two things, if you ask me:

  1. He’s on our side – Jack could definitely fit on the door.
  2. He was responsible for Jack not trying to fit on the door.

Either way, he definitely knows more than he’s willing to let on. I won’t hold my breath for the truth though. I think it’s time we let go, Jack.
