Alright guys, I hope you’ve been practising your bend and snap because Legally Blonde 3 is officially, er, almost official!
Reese has been teasing us with information about the sequel for a while now, and we’re all seriously keen to see Elle Woods back on our screens. Now, the star has revealed they’re pretty close to making a decision about the film.
Speaking on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Reese said, “We’re meeting about it. I mean, we’re definitely talking about it. I don’t know. Do you guys want to see Legally Blonde 3?”
This was, of course, followed by a huge applause.
Reese then went on to say what the sequel will focus on, saying it’ll keep the empowering message of the first two films, “I mean it’s sort of about women being underestimated and I think it’s a good idea — that things have changed, but not that much has changed.”
Understandably Reese said she’d love to do another film because she loves playing Elle Woods so much, ”I love playing that character. She’s so amazing.”
“I don’t know. If you guys want it, I guess I’ll do it,” she joked.

The film is apparently set for release on Valentine’s Day 2020, but given they haven’t started shooting yet (as far as we know, at least), we wouldn’t hold our breath for that release date.
But if you need your Reese fix, season two of Big Little Lies will be premiering on June 9, which is so soon!
