When you think of the word “relatable”, you probably don’t think of Lady Gaga. But after the singer shared a snap of herself en route to New York City for the Met Gala and casually mentioned she hadn’t shaved her legs in four days in preparation, we have never felt more connected to her.
The snap showed Gaga on the plane, showing off her legs with the caption, “Met Gala here we come. Destination ‘Camp,’ so excited to co-chair Anna’s event.
“#MetGala #MarcJacobs #(and I didn’t shave my legs for 4 days which really completes the look) #ZoomIn.”
It didn’t take long for the comments to roll in, while some were negative, many of Gaga’s famous followers like Josh Brolin and Lindsay Lohan wrote how beautiful she looks.
One user wrote, “You look stunning! No shave needed! Knock em dead!”
Another wrote, “WE ARE SO READY FOR U TO SLAY MET GALA.”
Thank you, Lady Gaga, for finally normalising this attitude to shaving. If you DGAF about shaving, don’t do it, it’s that simple! Don’t worry about what other people think, plus, if they judge it’s probably just because they’re insecure.
The Met Gala takes place tomorrow, with Gaga attending Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala party in a dress that can only really be described as very, er, Gaga.
We haven’t seen a Gaga outfit like this for months with all the press for A Star Is Born and then award season. This surely means tomorrow’s outfit will be amazing!
