Don’t Invite Lady Gaga To Your Hens Party, She’ll Ruin It

Bad romance.

Lady Gaga has found her name in headlines again this week after she took to Instagram to confirm that she has split from her partner Dan Horton.

And that really sucks – truly. Breakups are painful and difficult and just not a good time for anyone; especially someone in the public eye. Our hearts bleed even more when the person who’s experiencing the breakup is a sweetheart, which Lady Gaga happens to be.

But the A Star Is Born actress chose to confirm her breakup with the world at a particularly odd time. It was at her friend’s Bachelorette party.

Now, I don’t know the dynamic of Gaga’s relationship with her bride-to-be pal. Maybe they chatted this through and it’s all totally fine. But you’ve got to admit: confirming a romantic split kind of steals the attention from the bride, no?

In an Instastory, Gaga shared a photo of herself and her bestie along with the caption:

“An about to be married woman and me, a single lady. Also thanks @hauslabs for the makeup”

This is the post that set off the wave of interest. The message (and casual business promo) doesn’t really appear to be about the hen do and seems more like an opportunity taken to drop a truth bomb.

But again, this is all being interpreted from one photo and could be a gross misreading of the move.

According to Cosmopolitan, Lady Gaga and Horton had been dating since July 2019 and there have been whispers of their split for about a week now.

Adding to the not-so-fun updates from the 33-year-old performer, Gaga also took a moment during the Bachelorette celebration to hint at her condition since falling off a *literal* stage and landing on her back.

In another Instastory post she wrote:

“I might be in a lot of pain but I couldn’t miss my best friends bachelorette dinner.”

So, Lady Gaga might have stolen the thunder a little, but the woman does get points for showing up – back pain and all.
