Kendall Jenner Will Happily Sell-Out For The Colour Orange: A Conspiracy Theory

I have proof.

There’s not much the Kardashian’s wont sell. Over the years they’ve advertised skinny tea, waist trainers, hair gummies that definitely don’t taste good (I don’t care what they say) and foundation for your body.

Nothing is sacred and every time I see another #sponpo #ad #partner I hate them a little more.

But there’s one Kardashian family member that won’t sell her soul for just anything. I have a theory that Kendall Jenner will only agree to promote a brand if it fits within a specific colour scheme: orange

This conspiracy holds up, trust me. There’s a bunch of posts on Kendall’s Instagram which perfectly match this criteria (I say criteria, I mean aesthetic).

Take this post she made for Fyre fest:

Very arty, very orange, very expensive- it earned Kendall a casual $250,000.

Then, at the Met Gala this year, Kendall wore a very orange dress by Versace complete with orange jewels from Tiffany and Co.

I don’t know how much Kendall was paid to wear the Versace creation but it doesn’t matter- she still gave the brand amazing exposure.

Because if any brand needs exposure it’s Versace…

There’s also the small fact that Kendall is a Tiffany and Co partner which means she was  definitely paid to wear all that orange jewellery. When Kendall came to Sydney for the opening of the Tiffany store earlier this year, it was speculated she was paid $500,000 just to show up. If that’s how much she’s cashing in for just one appearance, then imagine how much she’s banking from her partnership in total.

Answer: a lot more than you or me will ever see.

But the biggest proof that Kendall will happily sell-out for the colour orange came just this week.

Kendall was photographed in all her orange glory promoting not one but two big brands: Coca-Cola and Aussie fashion label Bec + Bridge.

Kendall wore a very orange Bec + Bridge dress in some Instagram posts and while out and about in Manhattan. The dress is part of the brand’s new collection which launches in August.

Take another look at the above photo. A close look. See the coke can? See the colour of the can? See how she’s holding it? No one matches a coke can to their outfit and holds it like that for no reason.

Kendall is definitely promoting Coca-Cola. And while dressed in all orange, go figure.

The coke is even orange flavoured which proves just how dedicated Kendall is to the theme.

Coke has since come out and declared that “Kendall Jenner is not paid by Coca-Cola and this was not a paid placement. There is nothing better than drinking an ice-cold Coke in the summer and clearly Kendall agrees!”

But I call B.S. As much as it pains me to admit, Kendall is a clever cookie. She knows her stuff. She might not have a deal with Coke now, but after this move there’ll definitely be one on the table soon. And after that awful Pepsi ad in 2017, she definitely needs it.

In summary:

Orange branded post: tick.

Orange dress: tick, tick.

Orange coloured coke: tick.

Orange flavoured coke: tick.

All from notable brands: tick.

Kendall getting paid to promote orange things: tick (probably).
