We can all agree that Justin Bieber does some weird and questionable things from time to time, like making elaborate April Fool’s Jokes about his wife, Hailey Bieber, being pregnant, defending Chris Brown for some reason, or choosing to rock the scumbro aesthetic.
However, we’re really struggling to come up with a rational explanation for his latest little foray into the odd and confusing.
You see, Justin is apparently itching for a fight and has decided to scratch it by challenging Tom Cruise to a bout of fisticuffs in the UFC Octagon.

There are some things in the universe that humanity simply doesn’t have an answer for and this is one of them. Why is ol’ Biebs itching for a fight anyway? What’s wrong with a sesh against a punching bag at the gym? And most importantly, why challenge Tom Cruise of all people?
Look, Justin is in pretty good shape from all the basketball he plays but Tom is an entirely different physical level. The dude may be 56 but he’s done some crazy training over the last few decades in the name of action movies. Just from the top of my head, Tom has had military training, proper firearms training, was a pretty damn good wrestler back in the day, and travels around with a gym like The Rock.
Biebs has an uphill battle ahead of him when he takes on this.
Taking both Tom’s physical background work into consideration, it is more than enough to offset the 31 year age gap between himself and Justin, and if I were to put money on this bout, my dosh is on Ethan Hunt 100% of the time. In fact, betting site Bookmakers have Tom as a 1/2 favourite over the younger Justin, who is even money (6/4) to win the tussle.
It seems like Justin has realised this too and shared this tweet to his initial challenge to Tom. As for Tom, he’s yet to officially respond, presumably because his people are working out the deets or something.

All jokes aside though, it does make us genuinely wonder what compelled Justin to tweet something this ridiculous out. It’s no secret that he’s had struggles with his mental health in recent years and has taken some mature steps to focus on himself so this bizarre challenge to Tom seems to have come out of nowhere.
Here’s hoping he’s doing alright with himself and of ol’ Biebs is dead set serious about fighting Tom Cruise, well at least he’ll have former UFC champ Conor McGregor in his corner for support.
