The nerd gods giveth, and the nerd gods giveth even more.
Now that Marvel honcho Stan Lee has left us, every one of his iconic cameos is even more precious.
Possibly the most perfect and devastating guest spot is the first one we saw after his death: his touching, yet shady, moment in Into The Spider-Verse.
Two parts wise mentor, one part savvy businessman, all geek hero: that was Stan.
If you didn’t shed a little tear, were we even watching the same movie?
Now, the film’s co-producer Chris Miller – of Lord-and-Miller, the guys behind Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie and half of Solo – has pointed out another sneaky Stan moment.
To all those who got excited about the #SpiderVerse hidden 2nd Stan Lee cameo on the train: Stan is all over the movie, dozens of times.

COMPUTER, ENHANCE.
Yup, that’s our man Stan in his trademark aviators, probably doing important business deals on that phone.
But don’t miss that Miller says there are actually “dozens” of Stan moments “all over the movie”.
You know what that means: dozens of reasons to cry.
Here’s that train one he mentions:

And once we finally get Spider-Verse on Blu-ray and streaming, the biggest, nerdiest easter egg hunt ever.
Excelsior!
