Hugh Jackman Just Wants To Sing And Dance His Heart Out On Stage So Time To Stop Trying To Make Wolverine Happen (Again)

Maybe he can slip in some frothy Wolverine growls in between Les Miserables numbers.

For all of Hugh Jackman’s repeated assertions (and constant annoyances from his greatest frenemy Ryan Reynolds) that he has hung up his Wolverine claws for good, fans refuse to accept that he is done playing a near-indestructible mutant with adamantium claws.

People seem to forget that the man has got some serious song-and-dance chops. Hell, he scored an Oscar nom for Les Misérables, countless Tony Award accolades, and somehow pushed the decidedly okay The Greatest Showman to box office gold.

But maybe they’ll finally get the hint after Jackman’s announcement of his latest big project: he’s going on a massive arena tour to sing and dance his ass off on-stage to audiences around the world.

Called “The Man. The Music. The Show.,” Jackman’s one-man show will see the infuriatingly talented performer belt out tunes from his various musical projects, including Les MisérablesThe Greatest Showman, and The Boy From Oz.

Fans can certainly expect a spectacle befitting of a man who literally played the greatest showman ever in movie because Jackman will be joined by a whole host of dancers and a full-blown orchestra.

As for when and where we can catch this stunning hunk of singing-and-dancing man, the tour will kick off in May 2019 in Berlin. After a bunch of performances in Europe, the tour will move to the US for 22 more shows.

Dates in Australia and NZ have yet to be announced but we can expect them quite soon since we can’t imagine ol’ Hugh ghosting on his home country.

With this tour going well into 2019 (and probably beyond), it’s time to stop trying to make Wolverine happen (again) because it’s clear that Jackman has other fish to fry (and sing to) these days.

Maybe he can slip in some frothy Wolverine growls in between Les Misérables and Greatest Showman numbers just to satiate the fans.
