Save The Date
The Education Standards Authority will be releasing the 2019 HSC results on the 17th December. Imagine how good your Christmas celebrations will be if you do well! Assessment ranks will also be available online for four weeks after exams, so you could gain a pretty decent idea of how you’ve done a bit earlier. Other than that, you’ll need to wait with bated breath until December. But hey, at least the exams will be out the way by then!
Accessing Your 2019 HSC Results
Once you know the date, you’re probably dying to find out how you can access your results. If your profile is up to date, 2019 HSC results will come straight to your mobile or email. You can also access them through your online account on the same day, allowing you to get that first glimpse of your future in private! You can then download these as a PDF or wait until your testamur arrives in the post by January 2020. While your account will remain open for a while, note that it will close in June next year, so be sure to retain a copy by that date!
Understanding Your 2019 HSC Results
Prompt results won’t do you much good if you don’t understand what they mean. You’ve probably been through this plenty with your teacher, but it’s always worth recapping. Far from just getting a simple pass or fail, your results will appear in a table and will include a band and mark for each subject. There are plenty of details online to help you understand these results, especially if you access the assessment materials available straight after the exam period. For reference, an ‘average’ course mark is around the mid-70s, while band 6 is the top dog.
