Last year’s film adaptation of It left everyone substantially shook and became the highest grossing horror film of all-time, so to say we’re pumped for the sequel is an understatement.
So far we’ve only seen the first half of the story from Stephen King’s scary-as-hell novel, and soon(ish) we’ll see Pennywise return to Derry in It: Chapter Two.
Production for the sequel has officially kicked off and Warner Bros. just dropped the first full cast photo to the movie’s Twitter account.
The all-star cast includes our very own Neighbours star Jay Ryan who landed the role as adult Ben Hanscom. Australian talent represent!
You’ll also notice Isaiah Mustafa, AKA The guy from the iconic Old Spice ads, on board for the role of Mike Hanlon.
Making up the rest of the Losers’ Club we’ve got the infallible Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris.
Say hello to the Losers’ Club all grown up.

It’s been a long wait to see this cast all locked in and together and it was well worth it to see such epic choices. This script reading looks like the most glorious recreation of Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper and fans are stoked – even though Stanley is just barely scraping through as a part of the core cast.
There's no reason for the actor playing Stan to be there but I'll let this one pass

Warner Bros. also confirmed that the young actors who played the Losers’ Club roles for the first film will be reprising their roles in the sequel. And of course, Bill Skarsgård will be back as Pennywise.
It: Chapter Two doesn’t come out until the end of 2019 though, so now all we have left to do is wait.
