If you haven’t heard of New Zealand singer Kelsy Karter, it looks like she’s rectifying that with one seriously outlandish stunt: a giant tattoo of Harry damn Styles on her damn face.
I understand as much as the next person that Harry Styles is a beautiful superhuman, and your body your choice, but this is just wild to behold.
She posted the fresh ink on her Instagram, captioned,
“mama, look what i made me do”
To rewind a little and understand how we got here, on January 18, Kelsy posted a tweet that in retrospect, signals that this face tattoo is a birthday present to Harry Styles.
Finally know what I’m getting Harry for his birthday….

While Harry’s birthday is on February 1, the tattoo is suspiciously timed with the release of her song and music video, ‘Harry’. The track is a musical ode to Styles and it’s…a lot.
If you hadn’t guessed, she’s a big fan. Maybe a disconcertingly big fan.
Kelsy claims it’s a musical admiration for the superstar but the lines, ‘Harry I’m gonna make you love me/ You’re gonna make me breakfast,” tell quite a different story.
Although there are pictures on Instagram of Karter with tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste, seemingly getting inked, there’s still a part of us that struggles to believe this is the real deal.
The timing of the tattoo with the release of her new song and the fact that it’s a giant face tattoo lends itself to suspicion. But the whole thing looks very real and people are generally shook.

Girl, listen we know how lovely and talented Harry is. But You have his face on your face, forever. You could do it on your arm or back. OMG
and your future? How are you going to explain this at job interviews? God bless you— lola Stylinsom (@lola_styles96) January 27, 2019

Let’s just pray for Kelsy Karter’s sake that this is an elaborate PR stunt.
