Harry Potter fans, prepare for all your wildest dreams to (possibly) come true, because Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy might be dating.
Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, posted a photo to Instagram last night of himself and Emma Watson AKA Hermione Granger enjoying a little sensual guitar session.
Felton captioned the photo “Quick learner x” sending the Harry Potter fandom absolutely bonkers in the comments section. One fan wrote, “THIS IS THE CONTENT I WANT,” while another commented, “In my mind you two are together, always.”
Let’s be honest – popping an ‘x’ at the end of an Instagram caption doesn’t automatically mean these two are actually kissing and more than friends, however, it’s not the first time ‘Dramione’ have fuelled romance rumours.
Earlier this year, Felton and Watson had tongues wagging when they were ‘grammed spending a lot of time together.
Last year, Felton told Us Weekly, “Lovely Emma. We do see each other quite a lot actually. We just don’t always post pictures about it…Everyone loves the reunion of it. We’re reuniting all the time we just don’t always post it on Instagram.”
But the rumoured love affair between these two actors goes back even further than our Instagram feeds. In 2012, during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Watson admitted she once had a big crush on Felton.
“Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton,” she said. “We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and had a skateboard and that just did it really.”
“He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool. He totally knew [I had a crush]. And the thing is, he’d turn and go, ‘Oh, I see her in a younger sisterly way.’ And it just broke my heart, still does.”
The world stans Dramione so much that if you Google “Hermione Draco Fanfiction,” you’ll get almost 4 million search results. That is a lot of thirsty fans.
