This Theory About The White Horse From GoT Should Have Daenerys Shaking In Her Boots

It's not looking good.

Warning: This post is dark and full of spoilers.

I don’t know about you, but watching Game of Thrones episode five of season eight was stressful AF. Watching Arya constantly dodge death while Daenerys and Drogon destroyed King’s Landing was probably the most tense I’ve ever been while watching a TV show.

At the end of the episode, Arya manages to somehow emerge from the ashes and sees a white horse waiting for her. Some fans have speculated the horse was the one Harry Strickland, the leader of the Golden Company, was riding before Drogon decimated his army.

Some even thought Bran could have warged into the horse and sent it to save his sister.

Either way, it’s Arya’s way out of King’s Landing and it seems the horse might have a huge symbolic significance.

In the Bible’s Book of Revelation, the four horses of the apocalypse all ride different coloured steeds, and Death rides a “pale horse”.

The passage reads, “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.”

So, does this mean Arya is Death and Daenerys just moved to the top of her kill list? Dany does have green eyes after all.

It would all line up given Arya served the god of Death with the Faceless Men and then later killed the Night King.

It would also support the popular theory that Arya will be the one to kill the Mad Queen.
