After patiently waiting through scraps of content and teasers edited together from old footage, we finally have a real trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones, and it was worth the wait.
It’s a hectic cut of the surviving characters gearing up for battle against the White Walkers, who still seem pretty set on killing each other. The opening scene has Arya Stark seemingly running for her life and that is a potential fate that we do not appreciate.

Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are still looking like a mega-hot power couple, Sansa Stark is not looking stoked about the dragons in Winterfell, Jaime Lannister vows to fight for the living (duh??), Gendry is preparing the weaponry while the blood of former king Robert Baratheon pumps through his veins, and then Cersei Lannister is drinking wine.
Everyone seems extremely stressed about the biggest battle in TV history that’s ahead of them and yet, Cersei’s chill prevails.

It feels damn good to finally get a solid glimpse at the season eight action, and the Game of Thrones hype has never been so intense.
Game of Thrones returns on April 14, so get ready to have your heart broken.
