After teasing Cleganebowl for eight seasons, Game of Thrones finally delivered with the ultimate fight between Sandor and Gregor (AKA the Hound and the Mountain) in the show’s penultimate episode.
The pair battled as King’s Landing and the Red Keep crumbled around them. To be honest, it was a pretty epic scene, but there is one thing that would make it even more so – lightsabers.
ImmersionVFX has edited the scene to include lightsabers and the score from Anakin vs. Obi-Wan in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith – which fits perfectly with the scene, by the way – and it is seriously epic.

Many people commented on the video about how the last blade the Hound drew was a blue one to show he “went full Light Side before the end”.
One fan wrote, “I was gonna comment that the hounds saber should have been purple. But the dagger at the end being blue was actually perfect.”
Another added, “Why is everything better with lightsabers[?]”
Someone else praised the video, saying it looked just like something from an actual Star Wars film, “Honestly, if you showed this clip to someone who has never watched GOT, I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought it was from an actual Star Wars movie. Great job!”
Though others pointed out the fact he took revenge, which isn’t the Jedi way, so there is that.
