Game Of Thrones’ Euron Greyjoy was one of the series’ stupidest villains. Great villain, just literally stupid. But what we didn’t know was that before he took on Westeros, actor Pilou Asbæk hosted 2014’s Eurovision (the year when Austria’s Conchita Wurst won) in his native country of Denmark.
More like Conchita Best.
Pilou Asbaek was one of three hosts and he’s almost unrecognisable without a beard and cleaned up. Almost like an anti drug PSA from the ‘90s, Asbaek is completely different, he’s well mannered, funny and y’know…not trying to kill everyone.

The ads for Eurovision 2014 are hilarious as well with Asbaek taking a press tour through the “sanitised” streets of Denmark and we’re wondering what must’ve happened between this and his GoT introduction.
Oh also, he used to be Jamie Lannister’s babysitter.
I guess we can basically confirm that Cersei Lannister is a bad influence?
