You Either Need To Beware Of The New Fortnite 'Pole Camping' Hack Or Be Getting Around It

Shout out to the cheeky geniuses who discovered pole camping.

Fortnite is a game of Darwinism. It’s survival of the fittest, or at least survival of the team who figures out the most strategic battle hacks.

The latest strategy to either watch out for or put to good use is ‘pole camping’. Basically, pole camping involves stealthily chilling on top of the telephone poles South of Pleasant Park, and racking up kills as your enemies pass through without seeing you.

It’s a cheeky battle hack that was apparently a brainchild of TooTurntTrappin, AKA, ‘The God of Pole Camping’. Trappin and his team tried and tested the strategy and his team member Mikerosoft99x shared the scenes of their ambush on YouTube.

“Decided to try something different today and it turned out to be fun. Hope you all enjoyed the upload. TooTurntTrappin aka “The god of pole camping” always wanted to do this so i finally gave it a shot and it turned out being fun.”  Mikerosoft99x captioned the video.

It’s actually pretty hilarious to see and hear them succeed in their experimental mission.

To successfully recreate their pole camping strategy, you use the Sledgehammer skin, making you virtually invisible to enemies once you’ve mounted the pole. If you use the new suppressed sniper rifle and spread your team out you can easily trap and confuse passers by.

Although, the pole camping video was shared in a Reddit post from user TooTurntTrappin and it’s racked up over 5k points, so the strategy isn’t exactly a secret. That means you best beware when passing through the area, because those poles might be getting crowded with people waiting to ambush.

Good luck out there, keep your eyes up.
