Fortnite’s Low Gravity Limited Time One Shot Mode Should Be Made A Permanent Option

Give the people what they want.

Epic Games just released the 7.20 Fortnite update, and along with a new ice sphere and the new Glider Redeploy item, the highlight is absolutely the limited time One Shot mode.

It’s the last new LTM for the 14 Days of Fortnite event, and One Shot is officially the low gravity sniper battle that dreams are made of.

The One Shot mode was released yesterday and it puts a revolutionary twist on the Battle Royale gameplay. It can basically be summed up as low gravity, low health, long-range weapons, and a fun and frantic time.

Weapons are limited to hunting and sniper rifles only, and the low gravity setting is something you need to learn to master. “Jump high and aim well” as the Fortnite Twitter account advised.

It’s literally adapt or die in the new game mode, because every player is limited to just 50 health and you can only heal if you find bandages. That’s what guarantees those ‘One Shot’ kills or be killed.

The new patch has also reduced the Storm wait time in all phases of the game, so on all fronts the One Shot mode is a fast-paced and hectic gameplay.

You can explore One Shot LTM alone or play in the new low gravity domain in squads of up to four.

The general consensus is that One Shot is awesome, and it should definitely be a regular, if not permanent option. We can dream.

If you haven’t played yet, get around it, and get on board the keep-One-Shot-around campaign. Some modes are just too good to be limited time.
