Let's Get Behind This Viral Campaign To Make Stevie Nicks Work A Shift At Fleetwood Macca's

The landslide (of support) is going to bring her down.

Fleetwood Mac fans unite, for there is a worthy cause in need of our attention: to get Stevie Nicks to work a shift at Fleetwood Macca’s.

Posted by Be Reet on Tuesday, 1 January 2019

Be Reet started the campaign on Facebook, and the event has nearly three thousand people clicked attending plus another 16 thousand registered as ‘interested’.

The goal is simple: in honour of the namesake of Stevie Nicks’ iconic band, we just want her stop by the Fleetwood branch of McDonald’s to serve up a few burgers and what not. Simple stuff really. An opportunity she surely wouldn’t want to miss.

Stevie hasn’t yet responded, but a McDonald’s spokesperson confirmed the franchise’s wholehearted support for the campaign, telling NME:

“We’ve heard some rumours that Stevie Nicks might be keen to visit our own Fleetwood Macs. Next time she’s in the area we’d be delighted to welcome her for some sweet little fries before she goes her own way…”

Apparently the event specifies that Stevie Nicks should pop in to the Fleetwood Macca’s in Lancashire for a three-hour shift from 8am-11am on a busy Saturday morning on September 28. But honestly, we’ll take what we can get.

If the campaign gets enough traction, maybe we can get the rock legend to add this to an already huge 2019. This could be right up there with becoming the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame twice, as both a solo artist and with Fleetwood Mac. Very similar achievement-wise.
