Elizabeth Hurley Has Taken To Your Age Stereotypes With A Chainsaw, Literally

50 is the new 20.

Liz Hurley is one hell of a woman. She’s an actress, a model, a businesswoman, a mother, and has a career spanning over 30 years. Plus, she basically broke the Internet right after it hit the mainstream with her iconic safety pin dress in 1994.

Did I mention she’s 54 years old but doesn’t look a day over 25!?

In a recent interview with Extra, Hurley discussed her workout routine – which is far from ordinary. “I don’t work out, per se, but I am very active,” she said. “I do a lot of exercise, but it’s really the gardening…cutting down a hedge, using my chainsaw to cut down a tree, logging, all of that stuff I do. So, I’m very active.”

It’s not the first time Hurley has shaken up her exercise regime. In 2018, she burned calories by hula hooping and the same year she gave topless swimming a go.

Whether she’s pumping iron in a gym, pool, or out in the garden there’s no doubt about it: Liz Hurley looks absolutely incredible and is really giving those tired old age stereotypes a run for their money.

Hurley isn’t the only celeb who is proving 50 is the new 20. Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek, Kylie Minogue, Elle McPherson, Sandra Bullock and Julianne Moore are all 50 and over and proving that age is most definitely just a number.

Just take 50-year-old Jennifer Lopez, who recently slid back into the iconic green dress she wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000 for a recent Versace runway show. That was almost 20 years ago, but J-Lo is still pulling it off. Some argued she looks even more breathtaking this time around.

Speaking of stunning women, how could we forget about the Dame Helen Mirren. At 74 years old, Mirren has never looked better – and I’m guessing her confident mindset has something to do with it.

Mirren once said, “the weird thing is, you get more comfortable in yourself, even as time is giving you less reason for it. When you’re young and beautiful, you’re paranoid and miserable. I think one of the great advantages of getting older is that you let go of certain things.”

The actress also once famously said, “your 40s are good. Your 50s are great. Your 60s are fab. And 70 is f*cking awesome.”

For youngsters, it sounds like the best is yet to come, and for those 50 and over – this is your time to shine.
