While he’s best known for playing Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe has enjoyed showing off his acting ability in a variety of movies over the last few years.
Unsurprisingly, after working on one of the most popular film franchises of all time, he decided to work on smaller films to hone his craft, but it looks like he’d be keen to return to blockbuster movies if the Fast and Furious series wanted him. But he has one huge condition – he doesn’t want to drive.
While the Fast and Furious movies feature insanely crazy stunts which see the main characters driving a variety of different vehicles (whether that be ground-based or airborne), Radcliffe wants no part of it.
Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, Radcliffe said he did most of his own stunts on the Harry Potter movies, but many of the films he’s done since haven’t really been action-packed and required stunts.
“Is there a part of a non-driver in that?” he joked while promoting his new film Guns Akimbo with MTV News.
The actor went on to explain that while he does have a driver’s license and only uses it to drive around on sets adding he doesn’t like getting behind the wheel because he’s “bad at it”.
“There’s a big operation, right? They need someone to do their taxes or something? There’s got to be like an accountant for the Fast 9,” Radcliffe joked.
There’s got to be a way to incorporate Radcliffe into those movies, right?! Especially considering there’s one more film on the way after Fast and Furious 9, and there’s even talk of a female-led spinoff, plus Hobbs and Shaw might get a sequel too.
Whether or not he gets approached for the Fast and Furious franchise, Radcliffe has been pretty busy with his latest projects Guns Akimbo, Playmobil: The Movie, The Untitled Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Special, and Escape From Pretoria.
