Oh, look, another faceless dude on the Internet making a derogatory comment about a woman in the arts and media.
While live-tweeting the latest episode of Westworld in the US, an eager Twitter user decided to focus his efforts on one character and actress in particular – Evan Rachel Wood.

Funny how he didn’t choose to go after anyone else in the series, just Wood – one of the leading ladies at the centre of all the new S2 Westworld action.
What’s also curious is how this guy failed to consider or acknowledge that Wood has been working as a highly successful actress in Hollywood since 1994 and can count Holly Hunter, Anna Paquin, and Sandra Bullock (all Oscar winners) as just some of her many co-stars.
Most importantly, faceless man on the Internet – she’s playing a freakin’ robot!
Of course she only has a handful of emotions – it’s part of the actual character.
But it’s OK dear reader, we don’t need to get too ragey, because Wood handled the guy with absolute class and charm.
She gave him a solid and amazingly-well articulated serve in some now deleted tweets (Buzzfeed did manage to grab a few screengrabs before the posts were wiped).
“Hmm. Maybe you should put on the corset in 113 degree weather, spend time away from your family, risk your life on horse-back, cry at the drop of a hat and relive your traumas over and over and over, be dragged and beaten till all hours of the night, sacrifice your childhood – to work and take acting classes 5 times a week, and work your entire life fighting through criticism and sexism to make it on this show, THEN show me how its done. Oh and while you’re at it, take off all your clothes and sit here for 6 hours in perfect posture too. So I am just gonna keep doing what I’m doing because its working out pretty good for me and I throughly enjoy it. Byyyyyeeeeeeee! ?✌?”
Of course the trigger-happy dude at the centre of all this mess wasn’t quite prepared for a response from Wood, or any backlash from her fans, and quickly changed his tune – surprising absolutely no one in the process.
