I’m guessing by now that there’s a good chance you’ve watched Netflix’s bonkers new documentary, Tiger King. If you haven’t, go and watch it because I assume you have nothing else to do with your time right now and it’s the best possible distraction from the fact that self isolation is beginning to send us all a little nuts. Things are about to get weirder though, because Jeff Lowe has announced to the world that there’s a new Tiger King episode coming as soon as next week.

The story about how we know this is just as nuts as the show itself. Jeff Lowe – you know, the dude who wears bandannas under his caps and now owns what’s left of the zoo – has made a Cameo account. Apparently Justin Turner, one of the players on the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, requested a video from Jeff, and THAT is the video in which Jeff told everybody that there was another episode coming. These people, I swear.
“Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week. They’re filming here tomorrow,” were his exact words.
We don’t know yet whether the new episode will be a follow up episode, a reunion of sorts (although Joe is still in jail and if I were Carole Baskin I wouldn’t be going anywhere near the guys in that show), or a different type of format.
Somehow I doubt it will be picking up where it left off though, because Carole and her husband (no not the missing one, the one she had on a leash dressed as a tiger) have made it very clear that they didn’t exactly love the documentary.
Netflix hasn’t commented yet either, but with the popularity of Tiger King not slowing down any time soon, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeff had just spilled the beans on a new Tiger King episode before they could.
Either way, the train wreck isn’t slowing down any time soon.
